Iowa State Tax Refund 2024 - Anyone received theirs yet?
Getting worried about my Iowa state refund. Filed on Feb 1st and still nothing. The 'Where's My Refund' tool just says processing. Anyone else from Iowa get theirs yet? Starting to wonder if theres some kind of hold up this year.

Tax professional here in Des Moines. Iowa DOR is currently experiencing delays due to increased fraud prevention measures. Most refunds are taking 4-8 weeks to process this year, even for electronically filed returns. They're being extra careful with verification steps.

Called the Iowa DOR yesterday and got through after 45 mins on hold 🙄 They said theyre overwhelmed with calls about delays. basically told me to just keep waiting lol

Filed mine on Feb 3rd and still waiting too! This is so frustrating - I'm counting on that refund to pay some bills. Has anyone tried calling multiple times to see if you get different answers? Maybe some reps have more info than others? Really hoping this gets sorted out soon for all of us 🤞
