Filed Feb 6th - Still No Approval or Updates (2023 Return)
Filed on February 6th and my Where's My Refund still shows processing. Starting to get worried since most of my friends already got their refunds. No updates, no letters, nothing. Anyone else file around the same time still waiting?

Tax professional here. This isn't uncommon for 2023 returns. The IRS is still dealing with a backlog and various processing delays. Without checking your transcript, it's hard to say exactly what's causing the delay. Could be random review, income verification, or credit claims that need manual review.

•How do I check my transcript? The WMR tool is useless 😤

•You can access it through IRS.gov, but honestly its pretty confusing to read unless your familiar with all the codes

Hey guys, instead of trying to decode the transcript yourself, try taxr.ai - its only $1 and the AI actually explains everything in plain english. Saved me hours of googling random codes and dates! https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! It analyzed my transcript in seconds and told me exactly why I was delayed (random review) and when to expect my refund

Did you claim EIC or child tax credit? Those usually take longer to process
