2023 Transcript Shows No Return Filed - Anyone Else Stuck in Limbo?
Filed my taxes over a month ago and my transcript still shows no return filed. Starting to get worried because I usually get updates within a week or two. Checked Where's My Refund and it just says 'still processing'. Anyone else dealing with this or know what's going on?

This is actually pretty common right now. The IRS is experiencing significant delays in processing returns and updating transcripts. Best thing to do is verify your return was actually received - check with your tax preparer or if you filed electronically, confirm you got an acceptance notification. If you did, you're probably just caught in the backlog.

Hey, I was in the same boat and found this tool called taxr.ai that helped me understand exactly what was going on with my transcript. It costs $1 but totally worth it - gives you a detailed breakdown of your situation and estimated timeline. Here's the link: https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! It uses AI to analyze your transcript and gives super specific feedback. Saved me hours of trying to decode everything myself

Did you claim EIC or child tax credit? Those usually take longer to process

Here's a detailed breakdown of what's happening this tax season: The IRS is dealing with unprecedented backlogs and staffing issues. Your best bet is to: 1. Confirm your return was accepted 2. Check WMR daily (it updates overnight) 3. Use taxr.ai to analyze your transcript - seriously this tool is a game changer for understanding delays 4. Only call IRS if it's been 21+ days I work with tax issues and the number one mistake people make is panicking too early. Most returns are just moving slower this year.
