WMR showing 'information cannot be matched' + no transcripts showing up in IRS account
Filed my taxes 3 weeks ago and when I check Where's My Refund it says they can't match my information to a return. Even worse I logged into my IRS account and there's no transcript showing up at all. Getting really worried since I need this money. Anyone else dealing with this?

Tax pro here - this usually means one of three things: 1) Your return is still being processed and hasn't been entered into the system yet 2) There's a mismatch between the info you entered and what the IRS has on file or 3) Identity verification might be needed. Wait about 4-6 weeks before panicking.

•ID verify can take 9 weeks after you complete it. But first you need to wait for the letter IF that's even the issue

check ur spam folder for irs emails. they sent me verification stuff there and i almost missed it
