Need help understanding transcript - WMR not updating
Filed my taxes and my transcript is showing some activity but Where's My Refund tool hasn't updated at all. Starting to worry because I keep checking everyday and nothing changes. Anyone else experiencing this or know what's going on?

The Where's My Refund tool often lags behind actual transcript updates. Your best bet is to focus on transcript codes and dates. If you're seeing movement there, that's what matters - WMR sometimes doesn't update until the very end of processing.

Just a heads up - if you filed with earned income credit or child tax credit, WMR might not update until mid-february due to PATH act requirements. The system is working even if you cant see it.
