IRS switching DD to paper check after verification - TurboTax fees question
Just got approved after verification but IRS is mailing a check instead of DD even tho I've used the same bank for years. They said its for identity theft protection. My question is how will TurboTax get their processing fee from Santa Barbara Bank if im getting a paper check now?

The processing fees for TurboTax are handled separately from your refund method. Santa Barbara TPG will still get their fees even with a paper check - they have agreements with the IRS to handle this. Its actually pretty common for the IRS to switch to paper checks after verification, seen it happen a lot this year.
