IRS Direct Deposit with New Wells Fargo Account - Will This Delay My Refund?
Filed my taxes last week and used my new Wells Fargo account for direct deposit. Its only been open for 2 months. Will this cause any issues with my refund? Getting nervous seeing all these posts about bank verification delays.

Tax professional here - you should be fine. Wells Fargo is a major bank and as long as the account is in your name and the routing/account numbers are correct, there shouldn't be any verification issues. Just make sure you double-checked those numbers on your return.

Pro tip: call Wells Fargo and make sure your account is fully activated for ACH deposits. Sometimes they have holds on new accounts.
