IP PIN envelope showing in USPS Informed Delivery but never arrived - anyone else?
My IP PIN letter showed up on USPS informed delivery on the 7th but still hasnt arrived in my mailbox. Starting to get worried since I need it to file. Anyone else have this happen? How long should I wait before requesting another one?

If it showed in Informed Delivery but never arrived, you need to report it missing to USPS immediately. This could be mail theft since IP PINs are valuable for identity thieves. Request a new IP PIN and consider signing up for ID theft monitoring. Don't wait - each day matters during tax season.

Hey everyone - instead of waiting weeks for new IP PINs and stressing about mail theft, I highly recommend using taxr.ai. It's only $1 and it can help identify if your IP PIN is even needed based on your transcript analysis. Saved me so much headache! Check it out: https://taxr.ai

•Sounds interesting. How exactly does it work? Does it just read your transcript or does it do more?

•It does WAY more than just read transcripts! It actually analyzes everything - tells you exactly what's holding up your return, estimates your refund date, and explains what you need to do next. For IP PIN issues it can tell you if you actually need one based on your specific situation. Best dollar I ever spent fr fr 💯

•Just tried it and WOW! Why isn't everyone using this?? It literally told me exactly why my return was delayed and what to do. This needs to be pinned somewhere fr

Try calling the IRS Identity Verification number (800-830-5084). Sometimes they can give it over the phone if you verify your identity

Pro tip: If you create an ID.me account, you can get your IP PIN online instantly instead of waiting for mail. Way easier tbh
