IP PIN notification - Does IRS send letter when IP PIN is used?
I recently filed using my IP PIN and I'm wondering if the IRS sends any kind of confirmation letter when the PIN is used or accessed from my account. Anyone have experience with this?

The IRS doesn't typically send a confirmation letter when an IP PIN is used on a return. They only send notifications if there's an issue with the PIN or if someone attempts to file without it. The PIN is there as a security measure, but successful use isn't confirmed by mail.
