How to verify if state tax return was accepted? Need help checking status
I filed both my federal and state returns about 2 weeks ago. My federal was accepted right away but I haven't heard anything about my state return. Where can I check if my state accepted it? I'm getting worried because I'm expecting a decent refund.

Each state has their own 'Where's My Refund' tool on their Department of Revenue website. Just google '[your state] where's my refund' and it should be the first result. You'll need your SSN and the exact refund amount to check.

Make sure you kept a copy of your state confirmation when you filed! Sometimes they send emails that go to spam too

If you filed through turbotax or hr block they usually have a status tracker in your account dashboard too
