How long does SBTPG take to mail a cashier's check? Sent 5/10
I got my tax return processed and SBTPG mailed out a cashier's check to me on May 10th (about 3 weeks ago). Still haven't received anything in the mail. Is this normal? How long should I expect to wait before I should start worrying? This is my first time having them mail me a check instead of direct deposit.

•When I had to get a reissue last yr they didn't charge me. But they did make me wait a full 30 days before they would start the process. So heads up on that, it can be frustrating.

•Use Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get ahold of them faster. Their wait times are ridiculous this time of year and its like impossible to reach a human otherwise. Got me thru in like 10 mins when I was dealing with a similar issue last month!

•I get why you'd think that but it actually does work. I was skeptical too but was desperate after calling SBTPG like 20 times and never getting past the automated system. I was ready to give up when someone here recommended it. It basically just gets you past the phone tree and connects you to an actual person.

mine took exactly 14 days last year. SBTPG is notoriously slow with paper checks. Next time definitely do direct deposit if you can - so much faster.

Ugh SBTPG is the absolute WORST 🤮 I had to wait almost 5 weeks for my check earlier this year. Their customer service is useless too. Keep calling and be prepared to wait on hold forever. Good luck!

Just sharing my timeline to help: SBTPG sent check: April 2 Check arrived: April 14 So about 12 days for me, but I'm fairly close to where they mail from. I've heard it can take up to 3-4 weeks depending on your location and mail service in your area.

If it's been 3 weeks you need to call them ASAP. My check never showed up and I had to have them reissue it. Apparently there's been a lot of mail theft of tax refund checks this year. Don't wait any longer.

Check your SBTPG account online if you have one. Sometimes they'll update the status there if there was an issue with delivery. Mine showed "returned to sender" when my check got sent back because of a missing apartment number.

I'd start worrying now tbh. Check your address to make sure it matches exactly what's on your return. When you call (and you should call immediately), make sure you have your tax filing info ready - they'll ask for verification.
