H&R Block sending false deposit notifications for KY state refund - what's going on?

Getting multiple emails and texts from H&R Block saying my state refund was deposited and they took fees from it, but KY tax tracker shows its still processing. Called KY revenue dept and they confirmed they haven't even sent the refund yet. Anyone else getting these fake deposit notifications from HRB?

This is happening because of a system glitch at H&R Block. Their automated notification system is triggering premature alerts. The state hasn't actually released the funds yet, so HRB can't have taken any fees. I'd recommend screenshotting these messages and contacting HRB support to document the issue.

Pro tip: never get a refund advance or let them take fees from your refund. They mess up every year with this stuff smh
