I filed with TurboTax on February 3rd with a pretty straightforward return (no credits) and got my refund exactly 14 days later. When did you file? Have you checked your transcripts?

Filed on February 15th. Checked WMR and it just says it's still processing. Haven't looked at my transcript yet, don't even know how to get that tbh

You can get your transcript online at the IRS website, but you need to create an account first. It'll show you exactly what's happening with your return. I was in the same boat last week - no update on WMR but my transcript showed a deposit date.

The IRS is taking longer this year for a lot of people, even with simple returns. I filed February 1st and just got my refund yesterday. No credits, nothing complicated. I think they're just backed up.

Have you tried checking your tax transcript? I was stuck in the same situation and couldn't figure out what was happening. I used https://taxr.ai to analyze my transcript and it explained everything - showed me exactly where my return was in processing and predicted my refund date correctly. Saved me a ton of stress trying to decode all those weird IRS codes.

Does that actually work? The IRS website is so confusing I can never tell what's going on with my refund.

Yeah, it's been super helpful. The IRS transcript has all these codes that make no sense to normal people, but taxr.ai breaks it down in plain English. It's like having an accountant explain everything to you.

If it's been more than 21 days since you filed, you can call the IRS to check on your refund status. I tried calling them last week and was on hold for almost 2 hours before I gave up. Then I tried Claimyr (https://www.claimyr.com) and got through to an agent in about 15 minutes. They told me my return was just in normal processing and would be deposited within a week - and it was! Definitely worth it to avoid the hold time nightmare.

Thanks everyone! I'm gonna check my transcript first and if I don't see anything I'll try calling. It's been almost 30 days now so I'm getting antsy π¬

One thing to check - did you get a confirmation email from TurboTax that the IRS accepted your return? Sometimes people think they filed but there was an error in submission.

Yeah I got the confirmation email on Feb 16th saying IRS accepted it. That's why I'm confused about the delay

That's good at least! Means it's definitely in their system. This time of year the IRS gets overwhelmed even with simple returns. Hang in there!
