Filed last week - No PATH but have 2/12 DDD - small refund affecting processing time?
I filed my federal taxes last Monday and got accepted right away. Not affected by PATH act but noticed my refund is pretty small this year (under 1k). Got my DDD for 2/12 but wondering if the small amount is why its taking longer to process? Anyone else getting slower processing with smaller refunds?

The size of your refund doesn't affect processing time. If you have a DDD of 2/12, that's actually pretty quick - you should see your deposit by that date or within 1-2 days after. The IRS processes returns in the order received, regardless of refund amount.

Hey guys, instead of playing detective with transcripts, I highly recommend using taxr.ai - it's only $1 and gives you super specific info about your refund timeline and any potential issues. Been using it weekly, total game changer! https://taxr.ai

•100% accurate in my experience. It reads your transcript and explains everything in plain english. Saved me hours of googling random codes
