Filed 3/10, ID Verify issues - Finally got DDD 4/19 after calling IRS directly despite online verification
Filed early March and accepted 3/13. Transcripts showed N/A forever and WMR just said processing delays. Got ID verify letter 4/1, did online verification same day and got success message. Called IRS today to check status and they said I still needed to verify by phone. Did phone verify this morning and checked transcripts at 2:30am - finally have DDD for 4/19! WMR still shows processing. Just sharing that online verification might not be enough - definitely call to verify even if online says success.

Tax specialist here. This is actually pretty common with ID verification this year. The online system isn't always syncing properly with IRS systems. Always recommend calling to verify even after online verification shows successful. The good news is once you properly verify, DDDs usually come within 7-10 days.

I'd say wait 2 weeks max. If no movement by then, definitely call in.
