Filed 2/3, Day 39 of Error Department Review - Anyone Else Stuck?
Filed on February 3rd and got stuck in the error department. Called yesterday and they said I'm on day 39 of 45. I triple checked my return before filing and I know I didn't make any mistakes. This waiting game is killing me anyone else stuck in error resolution?

Tax examiner here. The Error Resolution Department isn't always about mistakes YOU made. Sometimes it's about verifying information against employer records or dealing with identity verification. The 45-day timeframe is standard protocol, but many cases clear faster.
