Filed 1/31 - Stuck on 'Return Received' No Letters, No PATH, No Transcripts Available
Filed my taxes end of January, WMR still showing 'return received' status. Haven't gotten any verification letters and I'm not claiming EIC so not on PATH act. When I try to access my transcripts online it says 'not available'. Starting to get worried, anyone know what this could mean?

This usually means your return is still in the initial processing queue. If you can't access transcripts, it typically indicates the return hasn't been processed into the system yet. No letters is actually a good sign - means they haven't found any issues they need to contact you about. The IRS is seriously backed up this year, seeing lots of Jan/Feb filers still waiting.

•Unfortunately there's no guaranteed timeline. I've seen anywhere from 8-16 weeks for non-PATH returns this year.

I was stuck like this for 12 weeks last year. Finally called IRS and they said my address had a typo that was holding things up. Maybe double check your return for errors?

Check your tax preparer's software to make sure it was actually accepted by the IRS. Sometimes it says sent but doesn't mean accepted.
