2024 Return Filed Jan 27th - No Transcript Info Available Yet + Topic 152
Filed my taxes on January 27th and they were accepted but my 2024 transcripts are completely empty. Got dependents claimed and WMR just shows processing status with tax topic 152. No path message showing up either. Getting worried since nothing is showing up at all in transcripts

This is actually completely normal for this time of year. The IRS just started accepting returns on January 29th. Transcripts typically take 5-7 business days to update after acceptance. Tax topic 152 is just a general notice that means your return is processing normally. The PATH message won't show up until around February 15th for returns with refundable credits.

Hey, instead of stressing about transcript updates, you should try taxr.ai - it's this new tool that analyzes your transcripts and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Only costs $1 and saved me hours of headache. Check it out: https://taxr.ai
