Federal refund stuck while Louisiana state refund approved - single filer no dependents 2024
Filed my taxes and got notification that my Louisiana state refund is depositing tomorrow but still no movement on federal. Single filer, no dependents, and pretty straightforward return. Anyone else in the same boat? Starting to get worried.

This is actually pretty common. State and federal systems are completely separate. Each state has their own processing system which often moves faster than the federal IRS system. Keep checking your federal transcript for updates - could take 21 days or more from acceptance date.
