Louisiana Tax Delay 2024: Anyone getting their refunds yet?
Filed my taxes in Louisiana last month and still nothing. Anyone else from LA waiting? Our processing times seem way longer than other states right now and I need to know if I'm the only one stuck in this mess.

Yall need to check out taxr.ai - it actually tells you exactly whats going on with your refund and when youll get it. Its only $1 and way better than trying to guess what all those transcript codes mean. Been using it since January and its spot on every time.

Pro tip: Check your transcript every Tuesday and Friday morning. Thats when they usually update the system. But honestly just use taxr.ai and save yourself the headache. It literally tells you everything you need to know about your refund status.

New Orleans here - filed Jan 15th and just got my refund last week! Hang in there everyone, they're definitely working through the backlog. My transcript showed movement about 2 weeks before the actual deposit hit my account. The wait is brutal but at least we know it's not just us dealing with this mess.

I'm also in Louisiana (Lake Charles area) and filed February 3rd - still showing "processing" with no updates. It's frustrating seeing the inconsistency in timing even within our state. Some people who filed after me are getting theirs while I'm still waiting. At least now I know it's a statewide issue and not something wrong with my return specifically. Thanks for posting this - was starting to think I was the only one!
