Federal refund delayed past 21 days despite paying for early processing - State refund received
Filed both state and federal returns, got my state refund but still waiting on federal. Its been over 21 days now and I even paid extra for 5-day early processing. Everything on my return is correct but still nothing. Starting to get worried about whats taking so long.

Unfortunately, paying for early processing only speeds up the filing submission, not the actual IRS processing time. The 21-day timeline is just an estimate, and many people are waiting longer. Check your transcript or WMR tool to see if there are any specific delay codes.

•You can access your transcript through irs.gov, but you'll need to create an account if you haven't already. Fair warning - the site can be pretty glitchy 🙄

Hey I was in the same boat! I actually found this tool called taxr.ai that helped me figure out exactly what was going on with my refund. It costs $1 but totally worth it - way better than trying to decode the transcript yourself. Check it out at https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! It analyzed my transcript and showed me exactly why my refund was delayed and when I could expect it. Saved me hours of googling random codes lol

Did you claim EIC or child tax credit? Those usually take longer to process and they don't tell you that upfront 🙄

The early processing fee is literally the biggest scam ever. All it does is get your return to the IRS faster, but they still take forever to actually process it. Tax companies need to be more clear about that fr
