DDD shows 2/22 but got refund early - hope for others waiting!
Just wanted to share some hope for everyone waiting on their refund. My transcript showed a direct deposit date of 2/22 but I actually got my money on 2/16, almost a week early. Maybe this will help others estimate when they might see their funds hit their account.

This is pretty common actually. The DDD (Direct Deposit Date) on transcripts is more like a deadline for the IRS rather than the exact deposit date. Most banks process these payments as soon as they receive them, which can be several days before the official DDD.

•Yep! I've seen it happen consistently over the past few years. The IRS is actually pretty conservative with their DDDs.

Hey guys, instead of playing the guessing game, I've been using taxr.ai to track my refund. It costs $1 but it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly when to expect your money. Has been super accurate https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! It predicted my deposit down to the day. Way better than checking WMR every 5 mins lol
