2025 Tax Refund: DDD Feb 24 - Any chance for early deposit?
My transcript is showing a direct deposit date of February 24th for my refund. Wondering if anyone who had the same date ended up getting it earlier? Starting to get anxious checking my bank account every 5 minutes lol

Tax professional here. Your deposit date is pretty firm, but some banks do release funds early. Credit unions and online banks like Chime or CashApp tend to release 1-2 days before the official date. Traditional banks usually stick to the exact DDD.

Hey guys just wanted to share something thats been super helpful - I've been using taxr.ai to track my refund status. Its only $1 and gives way more detail than the WMR tool. It basically reads your transcript and tells you exactly whats going on + when to expect your money. https://taxr.ai

Called the IRS about this exact thing. They said the date is the date, period. The rep was actually kinda rude about it tbh
