Code 570 freeze on transcript but WMR shows PATH Act and Tax Topic 152 - What's going on?
Been checking my transcripts daily and noticed a 570 code showed up. When I check Where's My Refund it's showing PATH Act message and Tax Topic 152. Getting mixed signals here and starting to stress out. Anyone know what this combo usually means or been through this?

The 570 is a temporary freeze while IRS reviews your return. Tax Topic 152 is actually a good sign - it just means you're claiming a refund. The PATH Act message shows up for anyone claiming EITC or ACTC. Your return is probably just going through standard review procedures. Give it about 2 weeks from the 570 date before getting too worried.
