Can't get IP PIN before tax season - online verification error & no mail PIN yet
Getting frustrated bc tax season starts in 5 days and still no IP PIN in the mail. Tried getting it online but keep getting errors when logging in. Called IRS multiple times but they cant fix the verification issue. Anyone else having this problem or know what to do?

Tax pro here - you're not alone. The IP PIN system is overwhelmed rn. If you haven't received it by mail by Jan 29, call IRS at 800-908-4490. They can verify your identity over phone and give you the PIN directly.
