California State Tax Refund: How often do transcripts update?
Filed my California state taxes three weeks ago and the refund status hasn't changed at all. Starting to get worried because I need this money. Anyone know how often the CA tax transcripts update or what days they typically post refunds?

CA FTB updates their system every night but only processes refunds on business days. Most refunds are processed within 2-3 weeks for e-file, up to 4 months for paper returns. You can check your status on the FTB website or call them directly.

pro tip: if u filed with direct deposit make sure ur bank info was entered correctly. I made a typo last year and it delayed everything
