Anyone with Card.com Received Their Refund with DDD 3/15?

Hello fellow tax filers. I'm trying to track the deposit pattern for my tax refund this year. Here's what I've done so far: 1. Filed my return on February 22nd 2. Checked WMR daily and saw it was approved on March 8th 3. Received a Direct Deposit Date (DDD) of March 15th to my Card.com account 4. Checked my transcript and confirmed cycle code 20240905 I'm wondering if anyone else using Card.com has already received their refund with the same deposit date? In my experience, some banks release funds early while others wait until the exact date. I'd appreciate knowing if Card.com tends to deposit early or right on the DDD. Thank you for any information you can provide.

The IRS deposit timeline isn't actually tied to specific banks but rather to ACH processing batches. Card.com typically receives the ACH transfer during the standard Federal Reserve processing window, which occurs between 1-2 business days before your DDD. However, their internal posting policies determine when funds become available to customers. Some Card.com users reported receiving funds up to 48 hours early during peak season, while others report exact DDD posting.

Have you confirmed this is consistent across all Card.com account types? I've heard their premium accounts might process faster than standard ones. Does account tier affect deposit timing?

I had exactly the same DDD of 3/15 with Card.com last year. Spent exactly 4 hours and 37 minutes trying to reach the IRS to confirm everything was on track. Finally used Claimyr (https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c) and got through in 22 minutes. Agent confirmed Card.com deposits typically post exactly on the DDD date, sometimes after 3pm EST. Mine arrived at 2:43pm on the exact date.

I've seen similar services to Claimyr before and I'm always wondering how they compare to just using the IRS automated callback feature? I've had mixed results with callbacks - sometimes they work great, other times I never hear back. Was Claimyr actually worth it compared to just persistent calling?

Oh my goodness, thank you for mentioning this! I've been trying to get through to the IRS about my amended return for DAYS! So frustrating! 😫 I'm definitely going to try Claimyr - anything to avoid the endless hold music that's been haunting my dreams!

I use Card.com too. Got my refund yesterday. Had same DDD as you. Showed up around noon. No issues at all. Money available immediately. Very smooth process this year.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Always nice to hear success stories during tax season. Makes the rest of us feel a little less anxious while we wait for our money to drop! 💰

When did you file originally? I submitted on February 20th and have March 15th DDD too, but nothing in my Card.com account yet. Getting worried since I need this for a payment due on March 18th.

I believe, if I'm not mistaken, that Card.com might possibly have different processing times depending on account type and possibly the time of day the IRS initiates the transfer. Last year, I prepared extensively for delays by contacting Card.com support in advance, and they suggested that sometimes deposits can appear as late as 11:59 PM on the DDD.

According to IRS Publication 1582 on direct deposit procedures, all financial institutions including Card.com must make funds available by the DDD specified on your transcript. I'm in the same boat waiting for my refund and needed to understand my transcript better. Used taxr.ai to analyze my codes and it predicted my deposit would arrive on 3/15 by 5pm based on my specific cycle code and processing pattern. Their analysis was way more detailed than what I could figure out on my own.

Have you checked the Card.com community forum? They have a specific thread for tax refund deposits where users post when their refunds hit. According to posts from last week, most Card.com users are seeing deposits around 2-4 hours before midnight on their DDD. You might want to check there for more real-time updates from other users with the same DDD.

I've been tracking Card.com deposit patterns for several years. There's a consistent trend. Most deposits arrive between 12pm-5pm on the exact DDD. Some premium accounts may receive funds one day early. Check your account type to set proper expectations. The IRS sends funds in batches, not all at once. Your batch might be scheduled for later in the day. I wouldn't worry until after 6pm on your DDD.

Thank you for this detailed information. I checked my account type and I have their standard account, not premium. I'll adjust my expectations accordingly and won't start worrying until after 6pm tomorrow. I appreciate the context about batch processing - that explains a lot about why some people report getting deposits at different times of day.

I just got my deposit from Card.com about an hour ago! Had DDD of 3/15 too. Filed using standard deduction, no EITC or CTC. Transcript showed TC 846 with today's date. Amount matched exactly what WMR showed. No pending period - funds immediately available. So relieved because I was getting anxious checking my account every 15 minutes since midnight!
