If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

For anyone wondering about the PATH Act timeline, here's what typically happens: 1. File your return (January-April) 2. Return accepted by IRS systems 3. Initial processing begins but pauses if PATH credits claimed 4. After February 15th, processing resumes for PATH returns 5. Verification of income and credits occurs 6. Transcript updates with cycle code 7. WMR updates to approved 8. Direct deposit or check mailed The test batch, if it exists, simply means your return completes steps 3-5 earlier, but step 4 still applies to when funds are released.

I actually did receive my refund yesterday and I filed with EITC on January 24th! My transcript updated last Friday with an 846 code dated for 2/28. I never saw any indication I was in a test batch - my WMR showed processing for weeks, then suddenly changed to approved last weekend. The money showed up exactly on the date shown in my transcript.

Be careful with how you proceed! I filed February 15th last year, transcript didn't update for 8 weeks, and when I finally got through to someone, they told me my return had been flagged for identity verification but they never sent the letter! I had to complete the ID verify process which took another 3 weeks, and then wait another 9 weeks for processing. By the time I got my refund it was JULY! I'm concerned about your situation because the timeline is similar to mine. Have you moved recently or had any life changes that might trigger extra verification?

Did you receive any specific notice date on your transcript before discovering the identity verification issue? I filed on February 17, 2024, and I'm wondering if there are specific dates I should be watching for that might indicate a similar problem with my return.

The IRS Where's My Refund tool and transcript system don't always sync properly. According to irs.gov/refunds, transcript updates typically happen overnight between Thursday and Friday, while WMR updates can take 24-48 hours to reflect transcript changes. This explains why some users see transcript movement before WMR shows any change.

Filed February 12. Transcript updated March 19. Refund deposited March 24. No explanation for delay. No special codes. Just slow processing. Don't panic yet. System is backed up. Keep checking once a week. Calling doesn't help unless you're past 45 days. They'll just tell you to wait.

Did you claim any credits? Like EITC or Child Tax Credit? Those take longer. Always do. Especially for joint filers. IRS flags them more often. Just curious about your situation.

OMG this is prob what happened to OP! I claimed EITC last yr and it took foreverrr. The system automatically flags those returns for extra review. Nothing to worry about, just takes longer. The PATH Act makes the IRS hold these refunds until at least mid-Feb, then add normal processing time on top of that. My transcript was stuck for weeks then boom - updated all at once. Got $ 3 days later!

I went through this exact situation on February 20th, 2023. TurboTax showed March 13th as my refund date, but the IRS was still processing. I panicked and called them on March 1st. The agent told me everything was fine - just backlogged. I received my refund on March 16th, just a few days later than TurboTax estimated. The IRS is dealing with millions of returns right now, and their systems don't always communicate status updates in real-time. I'm concerned the growing gap between tax software predictions and actual IRS timelines is creating unnecessary anxiety for filers.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to try checking again with the exact refund amount (I might have rounded it before) and if that doesn't work, I'll probably try calling. This is so frustrating!

One more thing to check - did you claim any credits like Earned Income Credit or Child Tax Credit? Those automatically get extra scrutiny and can delay processing. Also, if this is your first time filing, sometimes that can cause delays too since the IRS has no history with you.

I had my baby in December last year and here's what I learned about maximizing tax benefits: 1) Get the Social Security card application done at the hospital if possible. 2) Update your W-4 with your employer immediately to reduce withholding. 3) Keep track of all medical expenses for both mom and baby - they might exceed the threshold for medical deduction. 4) If you're paying for childcare so you can work, start documenting those expenses for the Child and Dependent Care Credit. 5) Look into FSA accounts through your employer for next year to pay medical expenses pre-tax.

Does your income fall within the phase-out limits? The full Child Tax Credit starts phasing out at $200,000 for single filers and $400,000 for married filing jointly. Just want to make sure you're planning correctly!
