If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Be careful with in-person verification if your case involves multiple tax years or amended returns. I went in thinking it would be faster than phone calls, similar to how getting customer service at a bank branch is usually quicker than their call center. Instead, I ended up having to make three separate visits because the first representative didn't have access to my full file. It's like going to a doctor for a full physical but finding out they can only check your blood pressure that day. If your situation involves anything beyond the current tax year, call ahead to confirm they can handle your specific case type at that location.

Most experienced filers in this community generally recommend against in-person visits unless you've exhausted other options. The consensus seems to be that the IRS online transcript access, while not perfect, is sufficient for most verification needs. Phone verification is typically the next step, with in-person being a last resort for situations where identity verification is specifically required or where complex issues need resolution. Many have reported that the online transcript system updates are actually more current than what some in-person representatives can access, particularly during peak processing periods.

After dealing with identity verification issues, I found these patterns for account updates: • Standard verification: 2-3 weeks for updates • International taxpayers: Often 3-5 weeks • With tax credits claimed: Can extend to 6+ weeks • During peak season (now): Add 1-2 weeks to estimates I was getting increasingly worried about my verification status when someone recommended https://taxr.ai to analyze my transcript once it appeared. It helped me understand exactly what the verification codes meant and gave me a much clearer timeline than the IRS provided. The tool explained that my "570" hold code was specifically related to the verification and not an audit, which saved me a lot of stress.

Idk about using some random website to look at my tax info. How do u know it's legit? Seems sketchy to put sensitive tax stuff into a random site. Has anyone else actually used this?

I completed Form 14039 Identity Verification on March 2nd and saw account movement exactly 18 days later. The Transaction Code 971 appeared first, followed by TC 290 two days later. Direct deposit hit my account on the 25th day after verification. Are you checking your Account Transcript or just WMR? The transcript updates first and gives you more detailed information about processing stages.

This matches my timeline! I verified on January 12th and saw movement on January 31st. The key indicators were: • TC 971 (Notice Issued) • TC 290 (Additional Tax Assessed $0.00) • TC 846 (Refund Issued) The cycle between these codes was exactly what determined my timeline.

This happens almost every year with prepaid cards during peak refund season. The IRS typically releases funds in batches, and financial institutions process them according to their own schedules. Most MoneyCard users should see deposits appear within 24 hours of the official date. If you don't see anything by Thursday morning, then there might be an actual issue worth investigating.

FYI - WMT cards usually post tax refunds overnight between 12-3am. Had same issue last yr w/ my DDD. Nothing all day, then boom - $ there next AM. Their system runs batch processing overnight. Cust svc won't see pending deposits til they clear. Dw too much yet - give it til tmrw AM before panicking. If nothing by noon tmrw, def call the # on back of card.

I think you should be checking for a very specific pattern of updates. Based on my experience with an amended return that required verification on March 4th, 2024, the transcript updates happened on March 18th, 2024 - exactly 14 days later. However, the actual processing didn't resume until March 25th, 2024. The verification confirmation doesn't always show up as a separate entry - sometimes it's just implied by the removal of freeze codes. If you don't see any update by April 30th, 2024, I'd be concerned that something might have gone wrong with your verification. The implications of a failed verification could mean starting the entire process over again, which would push your timeline into late May or even June.

I believe I can offer some reassurance here. I had a similar situation with an amended return that required identity verification. It may take approximately 2-3 weeks, possibly longer, for your transcript to reflect the verification was completed. This is not necessarily cause for concern, though I understand the anxiety it can create. In my case, there was no explicit "verification complete" indicator - rather, the processing simply resumed with new transaction codes appearing. The system worked as intended, albeit slowly. My amended return was ultimately processed correctly about 5 weeks after verification, which is within normal parameters for amended returns with verification holds.

Did you receive any letters in the mail between February 14th and today? I'm asking because I'm in a similar situation with verification on February 17th, then 570/971 codes appearing on March 12th, but haven't received any physical mail yet. Wondering if I should be looking for something specific.

Just FYI for everyone - the 846 date isn't always exactly when u get paid. Sometimes it's a day early, sometimes a day or two later. Depends on ur bank. If ur using a tax prep service that takes fees from ur refund, might take an extra day to process thru their bank first. Check WMR for the most accurate DD date. Congrats on getting thru the process!
