If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Based on community data tracking this filing season: β€’ February filers are seeing 30-45 day processing times on average β€’ Returns with credits (CTC/EITC) are taking 10-15 days longer β€’ Transcripts typically update on Thursday nights/Friday mornings β€’ Many people are seeing direct deposits 5-8 days after transcript updates Your timeline falls within normal parameters for this year, though I understand the frustration compared to previous years.

Just to clarify - when you say you filed February 1st, was that when your tax preparer submitted it or when the IRS officially accepted it? The IRS didn't start processing returns until January 29th this year, so even if you submitted earlier, the clock starts on acceptance date. Also, did you have any credits like CTC or EIC on your return? Those automatically get additional review under the PATH Act.

I've been through this verification dance three times now! Last year was a nightmare - took almost 4 months to get my refund after verification. This year was much smoother. I actually found that scheduling an in-person appointment at my local Taxpayer Assistance Center was faster than trying to do the online verification. I walked in with my ID, answered a few questions, and was done in 20 minutes. My transcript updated three days later, and my refund hit my account two weeks after that.

Verification is separate from review. Different process. Many confuse these. Verification confirms identity only. Review examines return accuracy. Can happen sequentially. Verification first, then possible review. Check transcript codes. TC 570 with no TC 420 means hold, not audit. Normal after verification.

I experienced a Direct Deposit Change Delay (DDCD) with my CTC payment after switching to a new financial institution. The IRS Payment Processing System requires a verification period for new ACH routing configurations. I utilized Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) to connect with an actual IRS agent to confirm my payment status when it didn't arrive as expected. Saved me hours of hold time and the agent was able to verify exactly where my payment was in the system and when it would be released. For those in financial distress waiting on tax credits, the service fee was worth avoiding the uncertainty.

According to Internal Revenue Manual section 21.6.3.6.1.1, changes to direct deposit information require a processing period of 5-7 business days before becoming fully effective in the IRS Master File system. The Child Tax Credit Advance Payment Program operates under Treasury Regulation Β§1.6428B-1(b) which stipulates that banking information changes must complete verification protocols before funds disbursement. This verification process is a necessary security measure to prevent fraudulent redirection of payments. The IRS implementation of these security protocols is not a system failure but rather a deliberate protective measure for taxpayers.

Got my CTC deposit yesterday after amending my return too. Here's what worked for me: I called Jackson Hewitt directly and asked them to check if my amendment was transmitted correctly. They confirmed it was and gave me a specific timeframe. I also made sure to check my transcript for code 846 which indicates a refund date. The deposit hit my bank account exactly on that date. Don't forget to check if you have any offsets that might reduce your expected amount - I almost panicked when I saw a slightly lower number until I remembered my state tax offset.

I think I might try reaching out to my preparer too... I've been hesitant to bother them, but your experience makes me think it could be helpful. Sometimes it's just nice to have someone look into your specific situation rather than trying to piece everything together from online forums.

Could you maybe clarify something for me? I'm a bit confused about how the Serve card works with tax deposits. Does Jackson Hewitt automatically set you up with that, or did you choose it specifically? I'm sort of wondering if different deposit methods affect timing at all. My direct deposit to my regular bank account seems to be taking forever...

Check your account name. Check your routing number. Verify your account number. I had issues last year. Simple typo. Cost me three weeks delay. Cash App works fine otherwise. IRS doesn't notify you of errors. You have to catch them yourself. Double-check everything.

The IRS deposit system is fascinating when you understand how it works. They send out batches of deposits 3-5 business days before the official DDD, and then it's up to the financial institutions to hold them until the proper date. Some banks (looking at you, Cash App and Chime πŸ˜‰) release the funds as soon as they receive them, which is why people sometimes get "early" deposits. If your DDD is today and it hasn't arrived yet, don't panic - the standard processing window runs until 5pm, with some stragglers coming through as late as midnight.
