If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Have you tried checking your tax transcript? It often shows your DDD before WMR updates. Did you file with any credits or deductions? Are you seeing any particular codes on WMR? What filing method did you use?

I was in this exact situation in February. Called the Taxpayer Advocate Service after trying the regular IRS number 9 times with no luck. They confirmed my return was approved and gave me my direct deposit date. Got my money 3 days later. The key was mentioning I had a financial hardship with my business expenses coming due. They prioritized my call because of the business impact. My refund was $4,800 and it saved my inventory order deadline.

What number did you call for the Taxpayer Advocate Service? And did you have to provide any proof of the hardship?

Thank you for sharing this! Definitely going to try this approach tomorrow morning.

I'm concerned about the pattern I'm seeing with Spruce accounts this year. There's definitely a systematic delay happening. When I had this issue, I spent hours trying to reach someone at the IRS who could tell me if they had actually sent the money or if it was stuck somewhere. Finally used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) to get through to an agent in about 20 minutes. They confirmed the money had been sent to H&R Block/Spruce on the date shown on my transcript, which gave me leverage when calling H&R Block. Might be worth the fee if you're worried about where your money is.

Is this legit? Seems sketchy to pay someone to call the IRS for you when you can just wait on hold yourself.

Have you tried checking your refund status through the H&R Block mobile app instead of calling? I found their app actually shows more detailed information about Spruce deposits than their website does. According to the H&R Block subreddit and their community forums (https://community.hrblock.com/), there's a specific section under "Refund Status" that shows if they've received the funds from IRS and when they expect to release them to your Spruce account. This saved me a lot of stress when I was in your situation last month!

Did you claim any credits? Like EITC or Child Tax Credit? Those take longer. Always do. Especially for joint filers. IRS flags them more often. Just curious about your situation.

OMG this is prob what happened to OP! I claimed EITC last yr and it took foreverrr. The system automatically flags those returns for extra review. Nothing to worry about, just takes longer. The PATH Act makes the IRS hold these refunds until at least mid-Feb, then add normal processing time on top of that. My transcript was stuck for weeks then boom - updated all at once. Got $ 3 days later!

I went through this exact situation on February 20th, 2023. TurboTax showed March 13th as my refund date, but the IRS was still processing. I panicked and called them on March 1st. The agent told me everything was fine - just backlogged. I received my refund on March 16th, just a few days later than TurboTax estimated. The IRS is dealing with millions of returns right now, and their systems don't always communicate status updates in real-time. I'm concerned the growing gap between tax software predictions and actual IRS timelines is creating unnecessary anxiety for filers.

Ah, the annual PATH Act waiting game! šŸ™„ Been there, done that, got the delayed refund t-shirt. Last year I was in exactly your position - filed January 23rd, got the PATH Act hold, and was checking WMR obsessively like it was my ex's social media. Finally got my refund on February 27th without any warning or updates beforehand. The system just went from "still processing" to "refund sent" overnight. The IRS works in mysterious ways, lol.

Same here tbh. WMR never updated for me last yr, but $ hit my acct Feb 26. Filed Jan 19. Had EITC. Saved $$$ by not taking an advance loan. Was tight but worth the wait. Just gotta budget carefully til it comes.

Wow, this is really helpful to know! I've been stressing about my return too. • Filed: Jan 24 • Accepted: Same day • WMR: Still says processing • Credits claimed: EITC I'm impressed with how everyone here seems to understand the system so well. I'll try to be patient!

I'M SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS TOO!! I need this money ASAP for medical bills and every day matters! Here's exactly what happened with my PATH Act return last year (I filed Jan 19): - Nothing on WMR until Feb 16 - Transcript became available Feb 17 with code 570 (hold) - Code 971 appeared Feb 20 (notice issued) - Code 846 appeared Feb 24 (refund issued) - Money in my account Feb 28 Total wait was 40 days from acceptance to deposit. The PATH Act is absolutely infuriating when you're waiting on important money!

The IRS has been dealing with staffing shortages across their processing centers this tax season. They're approximately 18% understaffed compared to their target hiring goals according to the National Taxpayer Advocate's report. This has created cascading delays in their processing pipelines. Most returns are still being processed within the standard 21-day window, but the exact timing within that window is less predictable than previous years. Have you checked if your bank shows any pending deposits? Sometimes they receive the funds before posting them to your account.

Are you claiming any credits like the Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit? Those returns are subject to the PATH Act which requires additional verification and can cause these kinds of date shifts. I've seen several cases where people claiming these credits had their DDDs shift multiple times before receiving their refunds.
