922 Freeze Code on 2022 Return with 12/2/24 Date - No Notice Received Yet

I noticed a 922 code on my 2022 transcript dated 12/2/24. No notice in the mail and nothing showing up for money owed on the portal. Really worried this might delay my 2023 filing. Anyone else dealing with this?

This won't automatically hold up your 2023 return, but you should wait for the notice to understand what they're reviewing. The December date is likely a placeholder.

Usually 2-3 weeks from when the code appears, but with IRS delays lately it could be longer
