570 Code Changed to PATH Hold - Is This Normal Progress?
Just checked my transcripts and noticed I had 570 codes show up Friday morning, but now they've switched to PATH message. My account balance still shows the full refund amount I'm supposed to get. Anyone know if this is normal progress or if the 570 might clear up in the next cycle?

The 570 code indicates a temporary hold on your account. When it switches to PATH message, it typically means you're claiming EITC or ACTC. This is actually normal progression - the 570 hold is often preliminary before entering PATH hold status. Keep watching your transcripts for a 571 code which would indicate the hold is released.

•PATH lift usually happens mid-February, but exact dates vary year to year

Hey guys instead of stressing about codes, I started using taxr.ai to analyze my transcript. It cost $1 but totally worth it - breaks down exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Saved me hours of googling random codes lol https://taxr.ai

A complete analysis of your transcript would help understand the timeline better. PATH doesnt necessarily mean delays, its just part of the process. Seen lots of folks get through it pretty quick once the hold lifts.
