My Transcript Processing Date Changed from 2/26 to 3/11 - Filed January, Bars Disappeared, Still Pending
Just checked my transcript this morning and my processing date changed from 2-26 to 3-11. Been waiting since January when I filed and my bars disappeared weeks ago. The amount stayed the same but wonder if anyone else saw changes today? I submitted my return on 01/26/2025 and it's been showing as PENDING ever since. When I check the IRS app, it shows: Submitted: 01/26/25 Pending: 01/26/25 Refund: PENDING 01/26/2025 My return status just says "PENDING 01/26/2025" and has the "Download return" and "Where's my refund?" options, along with "I got an IRS notice. Now what?" at the bottom. I've been checking "Where's my refund?" daily, but my bars disappeared weeks ago. My processing date was originally 2-26, but now it changed to 3-11 on my transcript. The refund amount is still the same though. Has anyone else noticed changes to their processing dates today? It seems like there might be movement finally, but I'm not sure what to make of this change. Is this a good sign that my refund is coming soon?

Hey fam, I'm dealing with this too. My processing date changed from 1/15 to 2/15 yesterday and i was freakin out. I decided to try taxr.ai to figure out what's going on and wow - super helpful. Tax expert here - date changes are actually pretty common this time of year. It usually means your return is moving through different processing stages. As long as you're not seeing any new codes pop up, particularly in the 570/971 range, you're probably still on track.
