CONNECT login loop issue - DEO site keeps returning to warning page
I'm having the WORST time with the DEO website today. Every time I try to log into my CONNECT account, I get through the warning page (the one where you click the box agreeing to terms), put in my login info, and then instead of going to my dashboard it just sends me BACK to the warning page again!! It's a never-ending loop and I can't access my account to claim my weeks. I've tried 3 different browsers, cleared cookies, restarted my computer - nothing works. Has anyone else dealt with this recently? My rent is due next week and I NEED to get this claim processed!

OMG same thing happened to me last Tuesday!! So frustrating. The site kept sending me back to that stupid warning page over and over. I was ready to throw my laptop out the window!!

•At least I'm not alone! How did you fix it? Or are you still stuck too?

This is a known issue with the CONNECT system when they're doing maintenance or having server problems. A couple things to try: 1. Wait 30 minutes and try again (sometimes their servers need to reset) 2. Try logging in during non-peak hours (early morning 6-7am or late evening after 9pm) 3. Try using a different device completely (mobile phone instead of computer) 4. Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version If none of that works, you might need to contact DEO directly to check if your account has been flagged for identity verification or has some other hold on it.

•Thank you for the suggestions! I tried early this morning (around 6:30am) and still had the same problem. I'll try from my phone next. Does anyone know if there's a way to see if my account is flagged without actually getting into the system? That's my biggest worry.

This exact loop issue happened to me in March. Turned out my account was flagged for quarterly wage review (even though I hadn't had wages!). The only way I fixed it was getting through to an actual DEO agent who reset something on their end. I spent 3 days calling that impossible DEO number with no luck, then I found this service called Claimyr that got me through to a rep in about 40 minutes. It worked really well - they have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj Their website is claimyr.com if you want to check it out. Once I got through to a live person, they fixed the loop issue in like 2 minutes. Apparently it's a really common problem with the CONNECT system.

•Thank you! I'll check out that site. I've been calling all morning and keep getting disconnected. At this point I'd try anything to get this fixed.

•Internet Explorer is discontinued now, but Edge (Microsoft's replacement) sometimes works better with government sites. I've found Firefox works best with CONNECT though - Chrome gave me nothing but problems during my claim last year.

This is definitely a server-side issue with CONNECT. When you get caught in that loop, it means the authentication is failing on their end, not yours. One important thing to note: if you try too many times in a row, the system might lock your account for security purposes. I'd suggest trying these specific steps: 1. Clear your browser cache completely (not just cookies) 2. Wait at least 1 hour before trying again 3. Use Firefox browser if possible (set up fresh with no extensions) 4. Try logging in EXACTLY at the top of the hour (like 2:00pm exactly) as that's often right after their system does a refresh If that doesn't work, you definitely need to speak with a DEO representative. The login loop is often associated with account holds that require manual intervention.

•Thanks for the detailed help! I didn't realize trying too many times could lock my account - that might explain why it's getting worse and not better. I'll try your Firefox suggestion and the top-of-hour login trick.

UPDATE: I finally got through! I used that Claimyr service that someone suggested above and got to talk to a real DEO person after about 30 minutes. The agent said my account had been flagged for ID verification even though I'd already done ID.me months ago. She removed the flag and I was able to log in immediately afterward. The frustrating thing is there was apparently no way to know this without talking to someone! No email notification or anything. Thanks everyone for your help!

•Great news! Glad you got it fixed. The lack of notification is infuriating but pretty standard unfortunately. Make sure to claim any weeks you missed while you were locked out!

I'm having EXACTLY the same problem now! It's so frustrating! How much did that Claimyr thing cost? Is it worth it?

•For me it was totally worth it. I spent 2 days trying to call DEO myself with no luck, and Claimyr got me through in under an hour. I was able to claim my weeks the same day. When you're about to miss rent, the cost doesn't even matter compared to getting your benefits!

I've been dealing with this same login loop for the past week! It's incredibly frustrating when you need to claim your benefits and the system just keeps bouncing you back to that warning page. I've tried clearing cache, different browsers, even tried my mobile data instead of WiFi - nothing worked. Based on what everyone's saying here, it sounds like this is usually an account flag issue that requires speaking to a DEO agent to resolve. The fact that there's no notification when your account gets flagged is absolutely ridiculous. How are we supposed to know what's wrong if they don't tell us? I'm going to try that Claimyr service that @Tami Morgan and @Ruby Knight mentioned. At this point I've wasted so much time trying to get through on my own that paying for help seems like the smart move. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences - it's really helpful to know I'm not the only one dealing with this mess!

•I feel your frustration! The same thing happened to me a few months back and it turned out to be a quarterly review flag on my account that I had no idea about. It's maddening that they don't send any notification when these flags get added. I ended up having to call for three straight days before getting through to someone who could clear it. The Claimyr service that others mentioned sounds like it would have saved me a lot of headache - wish I had known about it then! Hopefully you get this sorted out quickly.

This login loop issue is unfortunately super common with CONNECT. I went through the exact same thing about 2 months ago - spent hours trying different browsers, clearing cache, even borrowed my neighbor's computer thinking it was something on my end. Turns out it was a system flag that required a DEO agent to manually clear. The most frustrating part is how the system gives you zero indication of what's actually wrong. You just get stuck in that endless loop with no error message or explanation. Based on everyone's experiences here, it seems like the main causes are identity verification flags, quarterly wage reviews, or just random system holds that get triggered. For anyone still stuck with this - definitely try the suggestions about using Firefox, logging in at off-peak hours, and waiting between attempts so you don't lock your account. But if none of that works after a day or two, you'll probably need to speak with a live agent to get it resolved. The Claimyr service several people mentioned sounds like a good option if you can't get through on your own. Hope this helps other people who run into this issue - you're definitely not alone!

•Thank you for sharing your experience! It's really reassuring to know this is a widespread issue and not something I'm doing wrong. I've been beating myself up thinking I was missing some obvious step. The lack of error messages or any indication of what's actually wrong is so poorly designed - how are people supposed to troubleshoot when the system gives zero feedback? I'm definitely going to try the Firefox suggestion and off-peak hours before escalating to getting help from a service. Really appreciate everyone in this thread sharing their solutions!

I'm dealing with this exact same issue right now! Been stuck in that login loop for the past 3 days and it's driving me crazy. I've tried everything - different browsers, clearing cache, using my phone instead of laptop, logging in at different times of day. Nothing works! Reading through everyone's experiences here, it sounds like this is almost always an account flag that needs to be cleared by a DEO agent. The fact that they don't send any notification when your account gets flagged is absolutely terrible system design. How are we supposed to know there's even a problem if they don't tell us? I'm definitely going to try that Claimyr service that @Tami Morgan and others mentioned. At this point I've wasted so much time trying to fix this myself that paying for help seems worth it. Thanks everyone for sharing your solutions - it's really helpful to know I'm not going crazy and this is a known issue with their system!

•I totally feel your pain! I went through this exact same nightmare about a month ago. That login loop is the worst - you think you're doing something wrong but it's actually their broken system. I tried for almost a week before finally getting help. The Claimyr service really does work - I was skeptical at first but they got me through to a DEO agent in about 45 minutes when I couldn't get through on my own after days of trying. Turned out my account had some random "wage verification" flag that I never got notified about. Once the agent cleared it, I could log in immediately. Don't waste more time like I did - if you've already tried the basic troubleshooting steps, you probably need a live person to fix whatever flag is on your account. Good luck!

I'm experiencing this exact same login loop issue right now! It's so frustrating - I keep getting sent back to that warning page no matter what I try. I've been reading through all the suggestions here and it sounds like this is almost always caused by some kind of account flag that DEO doesn't bother to notify you about, which is absolutely ridiculous system design. I've already tried different browsers, clearing cache, using my phone instead of computer, and logging in at different times of day. Nothing has worked so far. Based on everyone's experiences here, it seems like I'm going to need to speak with a live DEO agent to get whatever flag is on my account cleared. I'm definitely going to look into that Claimyr service that several people mentioned - sounds like it could save me days of trying to get through on my own. Thanks to everyone who shared their solutions and experiences. It's really helpful to know this is a known issue and not something I'm doing wrong!
