CONNECT login page loop issue - anyone else getting kicked back constantly?

Is anyone else having problems with the CONNECT website constantly kicking them back to the login page? I log in successfully, get to my claim page, and then after clicking on anything it sends me right back to login. I've tried 3 different browsers, cleared cache, everything. This has been happening since yesterday afternoon and I need to claim my weeks by tomorrow! Really getting stressed because I can't get through on the phone either. Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone recently?

YES!!! OMG I thought it was just me!!! Been dealing with this nonsense since Tuesday!!! Every time I click to see my claim status it loops me back to login, I put in my info AGAIN, then loops AGAIN!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!! I've tried on my phone, laptop, even my kid's computer. Same stupid problem everywhere.

Glad I'm not alone but sorry you're dealing with it too. Did you find any workaround? I'm worried about missing my claim deadline.

This is a known issue with CONNECT right now. The DEO system does maintenance on Wednesday nights, but something went wrong with their last update. Several things to try: 1. Try early morning (5-6am) or late night (after 11pm) when system load is lower 2. Try using Microsoft Edge browser in InPrivate mode (worked for me) 3. Make sure you're not using a VPN 4. Try the mobile site instead of desktop version If none of those work, you might need to call and have an agent submit your claim weeks for you. Your claim weeks won't be penalized if it's a known system issue.

Tried all of this already. Nothing works. DEO needs to fix their garbage system!!

My cousin had this same issue last month. He said he had to wait like 2 days and then it started working again. Something about server problems they were having?

That's worrying if it took 2 days to fix. My claiming window closes tomorrow and I can't afford to miss a payment.

So I finally got through to someone at DEO yesterday after trying for THREE HOURS. They said they're aware of the login loop issue and their tech team is working on it. No ETA though. The agent was able to file my weeks over the phone, so at least I didn't miss my reporting period. They told me anyone experiencing this should call.

That's good to know! But I've been calling constantly and can't get through - just busy signals or the automated system hangs up on me after saying all agents are busy.

I had this exact problem last week. After talking with DEO, here's what I learned: 1. The login loop is happening because of authentication token issues on their new security update 2. It's affecting people randomly, not everyone at once 3. They ARE working on it, but no official timeline In the meantime, if you need to claim weeks urgently, definitely call. I know the phones are impossible, but I used Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get through - they have a service that connects you with a DEO agent without the wait. There's a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj I was skeptical but it actually worked and I got through to a rep who processed my weeks over the phone. Just mentioning since your deadline is tomorrow.

Thank you for this detailed info! I've never heard of Claimyr before but at this point I'll try anything. Did the agent specifically mention when they think the login issue might be fixed?

The agent I spoke with said they're hoping to have it resolved "within the next 48-72 hours" but wouldn't commit to a firm timeline. She said they're prioritizing fixing it because so many people are affected. One other thing she mentioned - if you're in claiming week countdown (like you mentioned with your deadline tomorrow), they are aware and making accommodations for people who couldn't file due to the system issue.

I tried calling again this morning and actually got through! The rep told me they're getting a ton of calls about this issue. She filed my weeks and put a note on my account about the system problem. She said even after they fix it, we should clear browser cookies again before trying to log in.

i had this problem too but mine fixed itself when i waited a few hours then tried again. maybe just a glitch?

I've been trying for over 24 hours with no luck. Glad yours resolved quickly though!

This is EXACTLY why I hate DEO!!! Every time they do an "update" something breaks! Remember last year when they updated the work search screens and then nobody could enter job contacts for 3 weeks?? Or when they "fixed" the payment system and payments were delayed by 10 days? They NEVER test anything properly before launching it. And who suffers? US! People who depend on these benefits to survive! I'm so sick of their incompetence!

Seriously! And they never communicate about these issues either. No notices on the website, no emails, nothing. Just let everyone panic and waste hours trying to figure it out ourselves.

Just to update everyone - DEO just posted on their Twitter account that they're aware of the login issue and expect it to be resolved by tomorrow morning. They said anyone with claim weeks due during the outage will get an automatic 7-day extension on their filing deadline, and those extensions should appear in accounts within 48 hours after the system is fixed.

That's a huge relief, thank you for sharing that update! I'll keep an eye on their Twitter page for more info. Hopefully it really will be fixed by tomorrow.

UPDATE: It's working for me now!! Just logged in successfully without getting kicked back to the login page. Try again everyone!

It's working for me too! Finally managed to claim my weeks. What a relief. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions!

Just wanted to add my experience for anyone still having issues - I was stuck in the login loop for about 18 hours straight. What finally worked for me was completely clearing ALL browser data (not just cache), restarting my computer, and then trying to log in using a different network (I used my phone's hotspot instead of my home WiFi). Seems like there might be some IP-based caching issues on their end too. Also, if you're still having problems, document the times you tried to log in - the DEO rep I spoke with said they're keeping records of people affected by this outage for potential benefit extensions.

This is really helpful advice! I'm new to dealing with DEO and wasn't sure if documenting the login attempts was important. Good to know they're tracking this for extensions. The different network suggestion is interesting too - I hadn't thought about IP caching being part of the problem. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I've been dealing with this exact same issue since Wednesday morning! So frustrating - I thought maybe it was something wrong with my account specifically. I've tried everything mentioned here: different browsers, clearing cache, different devices, even tried my neighbor's internet connection thinking it might be my ISP. Nothing worked until about an hour ago when I finally got through. For anyone still stuck, what worked for me was using Firefox in private browsing mode AND disabling all browser extensions. I think some ad blockers or security extensions might interfere with their authentication process. Also, I noticed the system seems more stable in the early morning hours (around 6-7 AM) - probably less traffic on their servers then. Really glad DEO is giving extensions for people affected by this. It shouldn't be our responsibility to work around their technical problems, especially when benefits depend on meeting strict deadlines. Hope this gets permanently fixed soon and not just patched temporarily like their usual approach.

Thanks for the detailed troubleshooting steps! The Firefox private mode + disabling extensions tip is something I haven't seen mentioned before. I'm bookmarking this thread for future reference since it seems like DEO system issues happen pretty regularly. It's really helpful to have a community where we can share workarounds when the official support channels are overwhelmed. Glad you finally got through!

This login loop issue is incredibly frustrating and unfortunately seems to be a recurring problem with CONNECT. I experienced something similar about 6 months ago during one of their "system improvements." Back then it took them almost a week to fully resolve it, and like many others have mentioned, they provided zero communication until people started flooding their social media. For anyone still having trouble, here are a few additional things that helped me in the past: - Try logging in from an incognito/private window AND turn off any VPN if you're using one - Sometimes their system gets confused if you have multiple tabs open to the CONNECT site - If you get in but then get kicked out when clicking something, try waiting 30-60 seconds between page clicks (their session management seems buggy) The automatic 7-day extension mentioned by Isabella is definitely a relief, but I'd still recommend calling if you can get through just to have documentation on your account. DEO has a history of "forgetting" about their own extension policies when it comes time to process payments. Really hoping they invest in proper system testing before pushing these updates. We shouldn't have to become IT troubleshooters just to claim our benefits!

This is such valuable information, thank you for sharing your experience from 6 months ago! It's really concerning that this seems to be a pattern with DEO rather than a one-off issue. The tip about waiting between page clicks is something I wouldn't have thought of - their session management being buggy makes total sense given how the login loop behaves. I'm definitely going to try calling tomorrow to get documentation on my account like you suggested, since I've heard mixed stories about DEO following through on their promises. It's ridiculous that we have to become tech experts just to access benefits we're entitled to, but I really appreciate everyone in this community sharing their workarounds and experiences!

I'm dealing with this same login loop nightmare too! Started for me Thursday evening and I've been pulling my hair out ever since. I've tried literally everything mentioned in this thread - different browsers, clearing cache, incognito mode, different devices, even tried from my work computer. Nothing works! I get to the login page, enter my credentials, it accepts them, shows my dashboard for like 2 seconds, then BOOM - right back to login again. It's like being stuck in some kind of digital purgatory. What's really stressing me out is that this is my first time dealing with unemployment benefits, so I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or if it was actually a system issue. Reading everyone's experiences here is both reassuring (it's not just me!) and terrifying (DEO has a history of these problems??). I tried calling yesterday but gave up after 2 hours of busy signals. Going to try the early morning approach some of you mentioned, and maybe look into that Claimyr service Omar recommended if I can't get through. Really hoping this gets resolved soon - the stress of not being able to access the system when you depend on these benefits is unreal. Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences and workarounds, this community is a lifesaver!
