SDI claim filed but no payment - impossible to reach anyone on phone. Help!

I filed a disability claim and I'm still waiting to get paid. I've been trying to reach someone on the phone but it's impossible to get through. I accidentally chose the wrong option when I called and now I'm even more confused. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to actually talk to a real person?

I found a method to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works.
