Hey peeps, for the father's. I submitted a paid family leave claim several weeks ago and haven't seen any status updates from EDD. I received the "Notice of Computation". But nothing afterwards and I'm beyond that 14 day period EDD should have taken action. Have any other dads had similar experiences and or advice 👀?

Hi Adam. Did you receive DE 429DF recently? It means Edd received your claim. You soon will receive another notice which “Electronic Benefit Payment (EBP) Notification (DE 2500E)” and that’s telling your claim is approved or denied. •As far as I know, if you’re eligible, you will receive DE2500E. If you receive DE 2517, it mean not eligible. DE429DF is notice of computation which you stated you received it from Edd sdi. I would call to make sure a claim status.

Hey Peeps as a recap. I resolved the issue with EDD. Due to my employment and how I am paid. Initially EDD rejected my claim despite them never reaching out to clarify (as required). But from the phone call, they approved my claim and will be get sent payment. Thanks again to Claimyr and also customer support staff. Not all heros where capes.

Hey Adam, I'm so glad to hear you got this resolved! I'm actually going through a similar situation right now with my claim - submitted weeks ago and stuck waiting after the Notice of Computation. •Hey Elijah! I'm in a similar boat - submitted my claim about 3 weeks ago and only got the Notice of Computation, nothing since. It's really frustrating being in limbo like this, especially when you're counting on that support. Adam's success story definitely gives me some hope too! I'm planning to call EDD this week to check on my status. Have you tried calling them yet, or are you also debating whether to use a service like Claimyr to get through?
