No , I speak with a edd rep and he seem not be cool . He said a notice is sent to my address concerning ma backdate validation . I’m currently not in the same address because I have been starving and calling edd for help to backdate but no success . Please what can I do so I can submit all the document needed

Sorry Chris I'm still not clear....you're trying to backdate your claim but you also can't log in, and you're not at the same address? You would first need to regain access to your UI online account. This would be done by calling EDD and telling them you can't access your account and need help logging in. After that, you would need to change your address on file with the EDD - this would also need to be done over the phone. Then, you would need to submit the backdate request through askedd.edd.ca.gov and await several weeks for them to reply to this with you updated address

Wow the app worked got a call back in 2 minutes. Now on hold for next level because it's pending for someone reason unknown. They gum up the paperwork on purpose just for another reason to review for months.

I got a call back in minutes, waited for about 10 minutes to speak with a guy from tier 1, he said he’d transfer me to tier 2 cause he saw a problem with my claim, then the call dropped, what do I do?

Hey Patrick keep using your callbacks and try again this is common with EDD unfortunately.

You just need to continue calling EDD because edd tier 2 can fix your mistake over the phone. I know call at times dropped but in the end, call is connected. Just know that some EDD hangs up on purpose. I had same experience. I would contact a local assembly member to get involved my claim mistake and speak with tier 2. Thank you Ginny for your support. During the pandemic I still could work a bit here and there landscaping cash in hand. Since I got less that 12000/year i didn't need to filled taxes. Will it work if send a self-certified Affidavit? I appreciate any good advice. Thank you

Thats actually incorrect self employment income MUST be included on a tax return if you earn over $400 in net income. I would recommend filing the taxes retroactively since you claimed benefits on that money to get you square with the IRS and then providing that - but if not, I would provide a signed affidavit along with other documents - dont submit just an affidavit - include correspondence with your customers, your business license, your bank deposit statements for the cash, any emails with customers, etc.
