Hello, everyone! If you're not sure if you want to use Claimyr to call EDD, please read! I want to thank Claimyr for providing a great service and helping SO many of my subscribers to get through to the EDD. My YouTube channel helps and thousands of my subscribers have used Claimyr to connect to the when they haven't been able to get through on their own. I created a very detailed video on my channel about exactly how Claimyr works and some information they dont share on their website through a zoom Q+A with Claimyr's CEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyMFwfDM1Dk&t=210s - its very helpful to watch if you are on the fence about using this service. In my experience and the experience of my viewers, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. ---> Click here to save $5 https://join.claimyr.com/7d3d41 on your first call to reach the (Claimyr includes up to 10 callbacks if you have any issues) I'll be happy to answer questions for you in this thread today :

•Sorry Chris I'm still not clear....you're trying to your claim but you also can't log in, and you're not at the same address? You would first need to regain access to your UI online account. This would be done by calling and telling them you can't access your account and need help logging in. After that, you would need to change your address on file with the - this would also need to be done over the phone. Then, you would need to submit the request through and await several weeks for them to reply to this with you updated address

•Wow the app worked got a call back in 2 minutes. Now on hold for next level because it's pending for someone reason unknown. They gum up the paperwork on purpose just for another reason to review for months.

•You just need to continue calling because tier 2 can fix your mistake over the phone. I know call at times dropped but in the end, call is connected. Just know that some hangs up on purpose. I had same experience. I would contact a local assembly member to get involved my claim mistake and speak with tier 2. To contact a local assembly member https://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov/ To call with $5 claimyr discount, https://join.claimyr.com/49a083

•UI is given when a claimant had w2 employee income. Were you an employee prior to being unemployed? To get ahold of easier, have Calimyr schedule you a call back - click here: https://claimyr.com/?ref=7d3d41 then click the green CALL NOW button - the link saves you $5 on this service.

•Thank you Ginny for your support. During the pandemic I still could work a bit here and there landscaping cash in hand. Since I got less that 12000/year i didn't need to filled taxes. Will it work if send a self-certified Affidavit? I appreciate any good advice. Thank you

•Thats actually incorrect self employment income MUST be included on a tax return if you earn over $400 in net income. I would recommend filing the taxes retroactively since you claimed benefits on that money to get you square with the and then providing that - but if not, I would provide a signed along with other documents - dont submit just an - include correspondence with your customers, your business license, your bank deposit statements for the cash, any emails with customers, etc.

Hi Ginny, thank you for all your help and your videos on this subject. I was curious about the paperwork needed to prove a job that was attained and then lost due to covid. One of the items of eligible paperwork include a letter from the employer. I spoke to my previous employer and he said he would be fine with writing me a letter. The question I have is do you have a video that explains this part of the process in detail? I was thinking the letter should include hiring date, pay, job title and duties, and of course acceptance of the position. Do you think this would be sufficient to fill their requirement? Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Hi Noel! Great question about employer letters for eligibility. You're on the right track with what to include. The letter should definitely have: hiring date, planned start date, job title, duties, rate, and a clear statement that the job offer was rescinded or the job was lost due to COVID-19. I don't have a specific video just on employer letters, but I cover documentation requirements in several of my videos. The key is being as detailed as possible - include any emails or texts between you and the employer about the job offer/loss, and make sure the letter is on company letterhead if possible. wants to see a clear connection between your job loss and COVID-19, so that should be explicitly stated. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with Claimyr, Ginny! As someone who's been struggling to get through to for weeks, it's really helpful to hear from someone who actually understands the system. I've watched a few of your YouTube videos and they've been incredibly informative - especially about the different tiers at and what each one can help with. I'm definitely going to check out that interview with Claimyr's CEO before deciding whether to use their service. It's frustrating how difficult it is to get basic help with unemployment claims, so having resources like yours and services like Claimyr available makes such a difference for people who are already dealing with financial stress. Looking forward to learning more from this community!

•Welcome to the community! I'm glad you found Ginny's videos helpful - they really are a lifesaver when trying to navigate the maze. I was in a similar situation a few months ago, calling for weeks with no luck. The tier system explanation in particular helped me understand why I kept getting transferred around. It's definitely worth watching that CEO interview before deciding on Claimyr - I ended up using their service after being frustrated for over a month and got through on the first try. The peace of mind alone was worth it when you're already stressed about finances. This community has been amazing for getting real advice from people who actually understand what we're going through. Hope you get your issues resolved soon!

Hi Ginny! Thank you so much for joining this community and sharing your expertise. I've been following your YouTube channel for a while now and your videos have been incredibly helpful in understanding how works. I'm currently dealing with a pending claim that's been stuck for over 6 weeks - I can log into my UI Online account but all my certifications show as "pending" with no clear explanation. I've tried calling the regular number multiple times but can never get through. Based on your experience, do you think this is something that would require a Tier 2 specialist to resolve, or could a Tier 1 representative potentially help? Also, would Claimyr be able to connect me to the right department for this type of issue? I'm getting really stressed about the financial situation and would appreciate any guidance you can offer. Thanks again for all the amazing work you do helping people navigate this complicated system!

•Hi Fatima! I'm new here but I've been dealing with issues myself and have watched a lot of Ginny's videos. From what I understand, pending certifications for 6+ weeks usually indicate there's a flag or issue on your account that requires manual review. This typically needs a Tier 2 specialist since Tier 1 reps can see the issue but usually can't fix it. Ginny mentions in her videos that you want to specifically ask to be transferred to a "claims specialist" or Tier 2 when you get through. Claimyr should be able to get you connected to the main line, and then you'd need to request the transfer once you speak to someone. I'd also recommend checking if there are any notices in your UI Online inbox that might explain the hold. Hope this helps and that you get it resolved soon!
