I'm in the same boat, been trying to reach EDD for 3 weeks now. Anyone know if they're planning to improve their phone system anytime soon?

Has anyone tried using the online portal instead of calling? I heard they've been pushing people to use that more.
I tried, but my issue was too complicated for the online system. Ended up having to call anyway. 🙄
The online portal is okay for simple stuff, but anything complex and youre back to square one trying to call

Have you considered reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help push things along when you're dealing with state agencies.
Just google '[your area] state representative' and you should find their office contact info. Usually they have staff dedicated to helping constituents with these kinds of issues.

FPL Account Locked Out - Need Help Unlocking ASAP!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble logging into my Family Paid Leave account. The system keeps locking me out and I can't access any of my information. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to get it unlocked? I've been trying for days and it's really frustrating.

Here's what worked for me when I got locked out: 1. Clear your browser cache and cookies 2. Try logging in from a different device (I used my phone instead of computer) 3. If that doesn't work, email their tech support. They usually respond within 48 hours 4. As a last resort, send a written request by mail to unlock your account Hope this helps! Hey everyone, I'm having trouble logging into my unemployment account to file a disability claim. I can't reset my password because I don't remember the dates of my prior employment or when I last received an unemployment check. I've tried contacting unemployment, but no one has been able to help me. Anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to get this sorted out?

Preach! 🙌 It's like they purposely make it difficult to discourage people from claiming benefits.

Anyone else notice that the questions are kinda confusing? Like, they ask if you're able to work full-time, but what if you're looking for part-time? The wording tripped me up.

PSA: Don't forget to certify every two weeks once you're approved! Set a reminder on your phone or something. Miss a certification and you could lose benefits.
