PFL payment 4 weeks late, can't reach EDD. Help!
I've been waiting for my paid family leave payment for 4 weeks now and still haven't received anything. I'm also trying to find out about the 8 week period. Has anyone else experienced delays like this? I've tried calling but can't get through to anyone. Any advice on what to do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat a few months ago. Have you tried calling first thing in the morning? That sometimes works better.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

They don't guarantee it, but in my experience it worked first try. You just put in your number and they call you when they get an agent.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call exactly at 8:01 AM when they open 2. If you get a busy signal, hang up and redial immediately 3. Keep doing this for about 30 minutes 4. If you don't get through, try again at 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM 5. Be persistent and don't give up! It took me about a week of trying this method, but I finally got through. Good luck!

I've heard the 10:30 AM time works well too. Apparently that's when they finish their morning meetings.

I think that was just for COVID-related leave. Regular PFL is still 8 weeks AFAIK.
