PFL claim: Need to change last day of disability, can't reach anyone by phone. Help!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat last year. It took me forever to get through to someone. Have you tried calling right when they open? That seemed to work for me after like a million attempts.

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Have you tried faxing your request? Sometimes that can be faster than calling.

This is why I always tell people to double and triple check their claims before submitting. It's such a headache to make changes afterwards.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call exactly at 8:00 AM when they open. 2. If you get a busy signal, hang up and immediately redial. 3. Keep doing this for at least 30 minutes. 4. If you get through, DO NOT hang up no matter what. 5. Be super nice to the rep when you finally talk to someone. It took me about a week of trying this method, but I finally got through and got my issue resolved. Stay persistent!

This might sound crazy, but have you tried going to their office in person? I did that as a last resort and actually got help pretty quickly.
