FML Payment Delayed 5+ Weeks After Filing - Any Tips to Speed It Up?
Has anyone else been waiting forever for their Family Medical Leave payment? I filed my claim over a month ago and still haven't seen a dime. This is getting ridiculous! I've got bills to pay and mouths to feed. Any advice on how to speed things up or at least get some answers?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've been waiting for 7 weeks now. Its like they forgot about us or something. Have you tried calling them? I've been trying to get through but no luck so far.

I've tried calling but keep getting stuck in this endless phone tree. So frustrating! š¤

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

Yep, 100% legit. I was skeptical too but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

How long did you have to wait for the callback?

It took about 2 hours for me, but I've heard it can vary. Still beats calling yourself!

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this mess for months: ā¢ Double-check all your paperwork. One tiny mistake can delay everything. ā¢ Keep a log of all your calls and who you talked to. ā¢ If possible, fax your documents instead of mailing them. It's faster. ā¢ Check your online account daily for updates. ā¢ Don't be afraid to escalate to a supervisor if you're getting nowhere. ā¢ Consider contacting your local representative. They can sometimes help push things along. Hang in there, OP. The system is broken, but persistence pays off!

Have you checked if your employer submitted all the required info? Sometimes they drag their feet and it holds up the whole process.

Oh man, I didn't even think about that. I'll give HR a call tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

I heard they just implemented a new computer system. Might be causing delays across the board. Typical government efficiency š

Anybody else notice that it seems to go faster if you file online vs paper forms? Just my observation from last time I had to deal with this nonsense.
