EDD claim stuck on 'processing' for 2 months, no income, bills piling up. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm really struggling here. It's been almost 2 months since I filed my claim and the status still says 'processing' with no updates. I'm not getting any income and the bills are piling up. This delay is causing me serious financial stress. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to speed things up or what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain OP. I was in the same boat a few months ago. It's ridiculous how long they make us wait! Have you tried calling them? It's a nightmare to get through, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

•I've tried calling so many times, but I can never get through. It's always busy or I'm on hold forever. 😫 Did you have any luck getting through?

•It took me like 50 tries over 3 days, but I finally got through. Just keep at it! Set aside a whole day if you can and just keep redialing. It sucks, but sometimes it's the only way.

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through on my first try doing that!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

•Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. It worked for me and saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•I've used it twice now. Worked both times. Beats sitting on hold all day!

Two months is way too long! Have you tried reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things along. Worth a shot!

Listen up, folks. I've been through this rodeo before, and here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. 2. Send a written request for an update. Use certified mail so you have proof they received it. 3. Contact your state representative or senator. They often have staff dedicated to helping with these issues. 4. If you're really in a bind, consider applying for emergency assistance through local charities or your county's social services. 5. Don't give up! Keep calling, keep pushing. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Remember, you're not alone in this. The system is overwhelmed, but that doesn't mean you should suffer. Stay strong and keep fighting!

This whole system is a joke. They expect us to live on air while they take their sweet time? It's a disgrace! 🤬

Hey OP, hang in there. I know it's tough, but it will get sorted eventually. In the meantime, have you looked into any temporary work or gig jobs? Might help tide you over until this gets resolved.

•Thanks for the encouragement. I've been trying to find some odd jobs, but it's not easy. I'll keep looking though.
