EDD Payment Delayed: Conflicting Form Info, Need Agent Review ASAP - Help!

Hey everyone, I'm in a tough spot. I haven't received my payment yet and I'm getting really worried. I've submitted all the paperwork they asked for, but now I'm getting mixed messages about how to fill out one of the forms. I just resubmitted it, but I really need an agent to review and approve it ASAP. Bills are piling up and I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any advice on how to speed things up?

I found a way to solve payment delay and form issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWnfLbhCnlY

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been there and it SUCKS. Have you tried calling them directly? Sometimes that's the only way to get things moving.

I've tried calling so many times, but I can never get through. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. Like, set an alarm and everything. Sometimes you can get lucky and catch someone before the lines get jammed.

Calling is useless these days. I spent 3 hours on hold last week and then got disconnected. 🤬

Have you considered reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things through faster.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://claimyr.com

Sounds sketchy. Is it legit?

Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken. 🤦‍♂️

I get it, but when you're desperate and bills are due, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. 🤷‍♀️

Here's what worked for me: 1. Document EVERYTHING. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and submissions. 2. Be persistent but polite. The people on the other end are probably overwhelmed too. 3. Use their exact language when filling out forms. If you're not sure, ask for clarification in writing. 4. If possible, submit everything online and keep confirmation numbers. 5. Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important emails end up there. 6. Join local Facebook groups or forums. Sometimes you can get insider tips from former employees. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process, but you'll get through it!

I'm in the same boat. Been waiting since March. This whole system is a joke.

March?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your state rep?

Yep, they just gave me the runaround too. Feels like nobody actually wants to help.

Pro tip: if you can, try to find out the name of the person handling your case. Sometimes you can sweet talk the front desk into giving you that info. Then you can ask for them specifically when you call.

Unpopular opinion: maybe try geting a job instead of waiting for a handout? 🤔

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes it updates there before they actually contact you.

Yeah, I check it obsessively. No changes for weeks. 😞

This might sound crazy, but have you tried reaching out on Twitter? I've seen some people get responses that way.
