EDD payment still not processed after submitting all requested documents. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm at my wits end here. I've sent in all the documents they asked for but my payment still hasn't been processed. It's been weeks now and I'm starting to worry. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to speed things up?

I found a way to solve payment delays for benefits, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMFAzPZ_yp0

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat a few months ago. It's so frustrating when you do everything they ask and still nothing happens. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that's the only way to get things moving.

I've tried calling but I can never get through. It's always busy or I'm on hold forever. 😫

Pro tip: call right when they open. Like, set an alarm and everything. Sometimes you can get through faster that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep just to make a phone call.

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo. Give it a shot if you're desperate!

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before they actually process the payment. Might give you an idea of where things stand.

This whole system is a joke. They make it so hard to get what we're entitled to. It's like they want us to give up. 🤬

Preach! 🙌 It's a full-time job just trying to get our benefits.

@profile 9 Easy to say when you're not the one waiting on money to pay bills. Some of us don't have the luxury of time.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Double-check all your documents. Make sure nothing's missing or expired. 2. If you haven't already, upload everything to your online account. 3. Write a detailed message in your account explaining your situation. 4. Call first thing in the morning, every day if you have to. 5. If you get through, ask for a supervisor if the first person can't help. 6. Keep a log of all your calls and who you spoke to. 7. As a last resort, contact your local representative. They can sometimes expedite things. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process, but persistence pays off!
