EDD Payment Delay: Submitted Forms 2+ Months Ago, Still No Money. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm getting really frustrated with the payment situation. I submitted all my forms at the end of November last year and still haven't seen a dime. It's been over two months now. Anyone else dealing with this kind of delay? Any ideas on how to speed things up or at least get some info on what's going on with my case?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I'm in the same boat 🚣♀️ Submitted everything back in October and still crickets. The waiting game is killing me.

October?! That's insane. Have you tried calling them? I heard sometimes that can help move things along.

Yeah, I've tried calling like a million times. Always busy or on hold forever. It's like they don't want us to reach them 🙄

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins of hold time that way.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

Totally legit. I was skeptical too, but it saved me hours of hold time. Worth every penny imo.

$20 just to talk to someone? The system is so broken 😤

I get it, but think about how much time you waste on hold. For me, it was worth it to finally get answers.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: 1. Document EVERYTHING. Keep copies of all forms, note down every call. 2. Be persistent. Call regularly, even if it's frustrating. 3. Check your online account daily for updates. 4. If possible, visit a local office in person. 5. Consider contacting your local representative for help. 6. Join Facebook groups or forums for support and tips. 7. Make sure all your info is up to date in the system. It's a long process, but stay strong. You'll get your money eventually!

Wow, thanks for the detailed advice! I'll definitely try some of these. Have you had any luck with contacting a local rep?

Yeah, my state rep's office was actually super helpful. They have contacts in the department and can sometimes speed things up.

Has anyone tried filing a complaint with the state ombudsman? I've heard that can sometimes light a fire under them.

I did! It took a few weeks, but I finally got a response and my case started moving after that.

That's great to hear! Maybe I'll give it a shot too. This waiting game is getting old.

Guys, I think I figured it out. You need to sacrafice a goat under a full moon while chanting the state anthem backwards. Works every time 60% of the time 🐐🌕

Perfect! Now you can file your claim in hell. I hear the lines are shorter there 🔥

Just a heads up, I've heard they're super backed up due to a new system rollout. Might explain some of the delays people are experiencing.
