Any updates on claim status since October? EDD system changes?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to check on my claim status. It's been a while since I filed and I haven't heard anything back. Has anyone had any luck getting updates recently? I'm wondering if there have been any changes or updates to the system since the beginning of October. This waiting game is driving me crazy!

I found a way to solve long claim status wait times, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGwjF8lgmho

Ugh, I feel you. I've been waiting for what feels like forever too. Have you tried calling them? I heard they updated some stuff recently but idk the details.

I've tried calling but it's impossible to get through. Always busy or they hang up on me. So frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold last week.

I actually found a way to get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

I was skeptical too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

20 bucks tho? That's kinda steep just to talk to someone...

I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, ya know? 🤷‍♂️

As of October 1st, they implemented some new verification procedures. Make sure all your docs are up to date in the system. That might be whats holding things up.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for way too long: 1. Keep all your documents organized and easily accessible. 2. Log into your account daily to check for updates. 3. If you call, do it early in the morning or right before they close. 4. Use the online messaging system, but be concise and clear. 5. If you get a helpful agent, ask for their direct extension or ID number. 6. Document EVERYTHING. Every call, every message, every update. 7. Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important emails end up there. 8. If all else fails, contact your local representative. They can sometimes expedite things. Hope this helps someone. Stay strong, we're all in this together! 💪

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there without sending a notification.

Pro tip: if you're having trouble getting through on the phone, try reaching out on Twitter. Sometimes their social media team is more responsive.
