Has anyone else had issues with EDD claiming overpayment due to days off? They're saying I worked on days I reported as off, and now I'm facing an overpayment claim. I'm so confused and frustrated. How can they just decide I worked when I know I didn't? Anyone dealt with this before or have any advice on how to handle it?

Has anyone tried reaching out to their local representative? I've heard some people have had luck getting things moving that way.
wait, we can do that? how do you even find out who your local rep is?
Just Google '[your state] find my representative'. Most states have a website where you can enter your address and it'll show you who represents your district. Worth a try!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my disability status and can't sign into my online account. It's been like this for 2 days now. Every time I try to log in, I get an error message. Anyone else dealing with this or know how to fix it? It's driving me crazy!

PFL claim denied after having baby - no reason given! Help!
I just had my PFL claim denied after having a baby and they didn't even give me a reason! Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm so frustrated and don't know what to do next. Any advice on how to handle this or who to contact would be really appreciated.

Hey OP, what was the exact wording on your denial letter? Sometimes there are clues in the bureaucratic language they use.
That's the thing - I didn't even get a letter! Just a notification on the online portal that my claim was denied. No explanation at all.
Wow, that's even worse. Definitely push for a written explanation. They're required to provide one by law.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes updates are posted there before they actually send out payments. Might give you an idea of where your claim stands.

This happened to me too! Turns out they had my address wrong in the system, so all my mail was going to the wrong place. Double-check all your info with them!
