SDI letter shows no wages but I have wages - Need help transferring from SSN to EDD client number
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my SDI claim. I got a letter saying I have no wages, but that's not true. I definitely have wages that need to be transferred from my social security number to my EDD client number. Has anyone dealt with this before? What should I do to get this fixed?

Ugh, classic EDD mess-up. I had a similar issue last year. You need to call them ASAP and explain the situation. Be prepared to wait on hold for hours tho 🙄

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Here's what you need to do: 1. Gather all your wage info (pay stubs, W-2s, etc) 2. Call EDD and explain the situation 3. Ask for a wage investigation 4. Follow up with a written request for wage transfer 5. Be patient (it can take 2-3 weeks) If they give you trouble, ask to speak to a tier 2 specialist. Don't take no for an answer!

Quick question - when you say "rolled from social to EDD client number," do you mean you changed your SSN recently? That could complicate things.

No, I haven't changed my SSN. It's just that my wages are under my SSN but not showing up under my EDD client number for some reason.

pro tip: keep a log of every call you make, who you talk to, and what they say. EDD loves to give conflicting info and having receipts helps

Just google "find my california assembly member" and put in your address. They usually have a form on their website for EDD issues.
